EAST LANSING, Mich. – Seniors Karin Hamilton and Lindsey Zieglar from the Western Michigan women's tennis team advanced to the Round of 32 at the 2023 Intercollegiate Tennis Association Midwest Regionals at Michigan State on Friday.
Zieglar, who automatically qualified for the Round of 64, defeated Sasha Sakura Stula from DePaul 6-4, 6-2. She advances to take on Kari Miller for Michigan on Saturday.
Hamilton, who won twice on Thursday to advance to the Round of 64, beat Agnes Gustafsson of Illinois-Chicago 6-2, 6-1. She advances to take on Michigan's Lily Jones on Saturday.
